Mrs M M Corker,

I have your letter of the 15th inst.  I have heard nothing reliable from Your Husband Since Your Father left here, only one from his Regiment has been returned, from him I could get no information.  There has been no flag [Flag of Truce boat, which carried messages & mail across the lines in both directions] boat since the 5th.  A much longer interval than usual.  I shall have access to all Georgia letters whenever a boat arrives and will take pleasure in forwarding any news of interest to you.  I have handed your letters to Col.
